Full Fat Soft Cheese (Cottage Style) is a healthy eating dairy product. Soft textured with a mildly acidic flavour, this full fat soft cheese is cold filled, with a not quite as smooth texture as Full Fat Soft Cheese (American Style), but a tangier taste, and a slightly more spreadable texture!
Full Fat Soft Cheese is an ideal cooking ingredient for both sweet & savoury dishes or sandwich filler. It is high in protein and a source of calcium.
Full Fat Soft Cheese or Full Fat Soft Cheese (American Style)??
Both products perform almost identical functions, and it is very much personal taste here.
Full fat Soft Cheese is 20% fat, the American version 30%. Full fat Soft Cheese is a tad grainier, more spreadable and with a slightly more tangy taste, which is understandable when one discovers it is made form cottage cheese curds dressed with cream and homogenised (beaten up!)
